Biography:
Wendy came to Mercersburg with many years of teaching experience. After having taught at York High School in York, PA, she took up residence in Valladolid, Spain, teaching in private academies and establishing her own academy over a time period of fifteen years. Wendy also taught a bilingual curriculum in the elementary, middle, and high school grades at the Colegio Internacional de Valladolid for five years. During the last four years of her residence in Spain, she taught English within the multimedia method at the Wall Street Institute in Palencia and at the Pre-K to adult levels at the Estudio Internacional in Valladolid. Most recently, she taught Spanish at Baltimore’s Gilman School. Wendy and her husband, Félix, have two children. Amanda will be graduating from St. Mary´s College of Maryland in 2007 and will continue there to complete a master´s degree. Son Félix '06 currently attends St. Joseph´s University, where he is majoring in Biology.
