The Writing Center is a resource available for all who are interested in developing their writing skills. Students can improve their writing, regardless of their level of development, by working with consultants in individual or group sessions. Faculty have a resource that enables them to supplement their classroom writing instruction through student referrals, requests for in-class workshops led by consultants, and dialogues with staff members.

The Writing Center is located on the third floor of Irvine Hall.  There are computer stations and printers available, and a resource library for issues in writing, documentation and publishing. There are comfortable chairs and a coffee table for relaxing with journals and books. The Writing Center offers a friendly, inviting space, where writers can sit down to explore the challenges and pleasures of language and learning
