Standout Fall Athletes Honored

James Finucane ’08, winner of the individual Mid-Atlantic Prep League cross country title for the second consecutive year, was among the athletes honored on Tuesday, November 26, when coaches and athletes celebrated the close of the season.

Award recipients included these athletes, named most outstanding in their sports: Finucane and Anne Spencer '08 in cross country; Mary Lancaster '08 in field hockey; Ben Eaton '08 in football; Valentin Quan Miranda ’08 in men’s soccer; Lauren Dobish '08 and Jenn Dillon '09 in women’s soccer; Lena Finucane '09 in women’s tennis; and Cree Riley '08 in volleyball.  

Other award winners include Sarah Duda '10, Trent Woodham '08, Remy Wheat '08, and Lawrence Sohn '08 (cross country);  Annie Birney '09 and Gussie Reilly '08 (field hockey); Bond Stockdale '09 (football); Josh Rosenblat '08 and Ethan Strickler '08 (soccer); Paige Harry '10, Emily Carl '08, and Rachel Greenberg '08 (soccer); Lucia Rowe '09 ( women’s tennis); and Taylor Riley '10 (volleyball).
