The Chileans are Here
Seven Chilean students and their adviser, Dixie Olguin Lazcano, arrived on campus on Friday, January 11, for Mercersburg’s first student exchange with Chile. The new annual program is modeled on Mercersburg's longstanding exchange with the  Gauss Gymnasium in Worms, Germany.

For one month, the students will live in dorms and experience life as a Mercersburg student. They will also travel to nearby Gettysburg and Washington D.C., as well as to and New York City.  The students, Luis Gonzalez, Santiago Labarca, Macarena Hofmann, Maria Antionia Martine, Josefina Parra, Francisca Rodriguez, Lisbeth Tiselj, and Fernanda Venegas, were introduced at Wednesday's Community Gathering.
