Signing Day: Glover, Thompson Sign Letters-of-Intent
Darius Glover '10 and Charles Thompson '10 became the latest Mercersburg football players to commit to playing on the collegiate level when they signed letters-of-intent with Patriot League rivals on National Signing Day. Glover (of Milford, Pennsylvania), a first-team All-MAPL selection, signed with Lafayette College, while Thompson (of San Diego, California), a do-everything back for the Storm, linked his fortunes with Bucknell University.
Six Students Chosen for Montgomery Award
Six Mercersburg students of French will receive all-expenses-paid trips to France for cultural and linguistic study during spring break and summer 2010, respectively, through the John H. Four of the recipients (William Day ’10, Maggie Goff ’10, Ryan Hao ’10, and Andrea Metz ’10) will travel to France during spring break; the other two recipients (Olivia Rosser ’12 and Harrison Yancey ’11) will participate in a four-week immersion program during the summer.
